Student Hub

Providing support and advice to all Solent students

The Student Hub is a central space where you can access all of the information and support you need during your time at Warsash Maritime Academy and Southampton Solent University.

Professional and experienced staff can help resolve any query, and if they cannot answer the question themselves, they will find the person who can.

Student Hub

Your first point of contact for any queries relating to your course, or any personal matters which may be affecting your studies at the University, including questions about your timetable, options, assessments and extenuating circumstances. The Student Hub also provides the following official services:

  • student funding and money advice
  • to whom it may concern letters
  • bank letters
  • replacement campus cards.

The team can also advise on eligibility to exemption council tax.

Wellbeing Team

Our student advisers can offer advice and support relating to personal and practical issues; no problem is too big or too small.

All queries are dealt with in the strictest confidence, and we work closely with the Student Hub team to ensure that you are referred to the most appropriate support if your personal issue is impacting on your academic studies.

We can offer advice on health and wellbeing, following procedures relating to a complaint or disciplinary, and can also provide access to the following specialist support services:
