Ship Handling Appreciation

  • Prerequisites None. This course is designed for shore based managers, senior managers and executives responsible for marine operations.
  • Teaching Methods Theory lectures on the principles of ship handling followed by practical exercises on the lake in the manned models.

Course Description

The course gives managers and other shore based personnel within the shipping industry with an appreciation of the relevant fundamentals of ship handling principles that will assist them in relating to the technical aspects of the subject likely to be encountered in their management activities.
