Monaco Yacht Show

27-30 September 2017, Monaco

We are exhibiting at this prestigious show, held in Port Hercules in Monte Carlo. Once again, we'll be in the Superyacht UK pavilion in Darse Sud (QS99). We will be available to help with any training enquiries including STCW, and yacht deck and yacht engineer certification programmes.

CrewConnect Europe

9-11 May, Copenhagen, Denmark

Head of Bridge Simulation, Steve Window, and Senior Lecturer, Darren West, were speakers at this conference.

Steve's presentation was entitled: The normalisation of deviation OR How eye-tracking software can help correct behaviours which allow seafarers to take short cuts to replace thorough procedure. He will be speaking on 10 May at 12.15.

We also had a stand at the show, manned by Adrian Crawford, Commercial Manager.

CrewConnect Global

15 - 16 November 2016, Manila, Phillippines

'Transforming crews of today into crews of tomorrow' is the theme for 2016 Crew Connect Global. Warsash exhibited at the shipping industry's largest seafarer recruitment and training conference. Claire Pekcan, Professor Mike Barnett and Alan Cartwright were speakers at the conference and were available to help with training enquiries. UKMPA Conference

14 and 15 September 2016, Isle of Wight, UK
Captain Kevin Earl, senior lecturer at our ship handling centre, and Alan Cartwright represented Warsash and Solent University at the UKMPA conference at the IOW.

International Harbour Masters Congress

30 May - 2 June 2016, Vancouver, Canada

Crew Connect Europe

9-11 May 2016, Copenhagen, Denmark
Commercial Manager, Alan Cartwright hosted our stand at Europe's largest event dedicated to seafarer education and training. Alan was on hand to answer enquiries related to STCW training, including updating training, as well as seafarer certification programmes. Alan also took part in a panel discussion on compliance vs competency. Senior Lecturer, Claire Pekcan also spoke about 'the fatigue bottom line: do we just need more crew?'. Seatrade Cruise Global
