Martyn Receives His Award from Rear Admiral Sir Jeremy de Halpert KCVO, CB
Martyn is managed by Viking Recruitment Ltd on behalf of Holland America Line and has just joined the cruise ship, “Rotterdam” in the Bahamas for a two month voyage.

The device is a simple facemask and respirator but with an atmosphere detector and regulated air supply included. The equipment would be used in conjunction with existing policies and practices, but its use could make the difference between life and death in an enclosed space.

Martyn is joined by his Grandfather, Mother, Mathew Jaenicke - Managing Director of Viking Recruitment Ltd, and John Bazley, Head of School of Professional Studies at Warsash Maritime Academy
Martyn was joined at the presentation by his mother and grandfather, a former seafarer.
