Officer Cadets represent WMA at
British Shipping Awards - and Win!

Two WMA students won awards at this event held in London on 22 November 2010, presented by the Shipping Minister Mike Penning:

First prize went to Adam Creber, Sep 2008 Deck FD cadet with BP Maritime Services

Third prize went to Simon Curtis, Jan 2010 EOOW Trainee with Chiltern Maritime/Trinity House.

For each WMA prize winner, WMA was also awarded a presentation plaque and £400 cheques, which will be used for cadet welfare facilities on WMA campus.
