Warsash Officer Cadets remember Armistice
Officer Cadets of Warsash Maritime Academy represented the Merchant Navy in three Remembrance Services to commemorate Armistice.
Five Officer Cadets participated in the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall parading with five Merchant Navy veterans on Saturday 13th November. The annual Festival of Remembrance commemorates and honours all those who have lost their lives in conflict, and is both a moving and enjoyable evening.
The Cadets said it was a day that they will never forget, standing in front of the Royal Family when all the poppies were raining down was a really moving experience.
The MN veterans commented "The Cadets at Warsash Maritime Academy are a real credit to the Merchant Navy and also a credit to their companies and to WMA. They were a pleasure to work with, smart of appearance, and very professional".
