Principal Lecturer – Maritime Training
£42,791 - £49,607 per annum plus 10% allowance
The School delivers short courses and consultancy services to the shipping and offshore oil industry - mainly in the UK, but sometimes abroad as well. The current vacancy is in Maritime and Offshore Safety and will involve the planning, quality assurance and implementation of courses and other activities, together with the management of both lecturing and technical staff. A practical approach will be required and there will be a need to lecture on short courses and also to engage in advanced scholarship within the Academy.

The successful applicant must hold a degree and/or an STCW II/1 or III/1 Certificate of Competency (or acceptable RN equivalent) and will have appropriate seagoing or offshore oil industry experience.
