Regs4ships (now part of ChartCo) are experts in ISM compliance and are ideally placed to provide bespoke company and ship safety management systems or undertake a gap analysis of the current systems in place, providing a set of recommendations.
Regs4ships has an excellent record in helping customers comply with the International Ship and Port facility Security (ISPS) Code, and can undertake ship security assessments, create the plan and ensure its approval by flag or recognised organisation. They have completed in excess of 70 SSPs to date.
Regs4ships provides in-depth, challenging and realistic emergency contingency exercises for ship management companies, focusing on command and control, media liaison and human resource management. The ISM and ISPS code require the ‘company’ to exercise this requirement annually and Regs4ships have helped many companies refine their emergency response protocols to better serve their fleet.
Fleet Electronic Management System (FleetEMS) is a cloud hosted document management and collaboration solution that allows shipping and ship management companies improve information management and compliance across their fleet. It delivers the company’s safety, quality and environmental management system (SQEMS) from a single centralised source across the fleet, provides tools to notify crews of SQEMS changes and records their acknowledgment of change.
The system also makes it easy for the company and vessels to share other safety and operational information. Automated forms to manage incidents and audits are included as standard.
Regs4ships provides a range of off-the-shelf and highly customisable International Safety Management (ISM) systems for commercial yacht fleets under and over 500GT.
Helping customers comply with the International Ship and Port facility Security (ISPS) Code is an area in which Regs4ships has an excellent and proven track record.
Based on the FleetEMS system, YachtEMS is a cloud hosted document collaboration solution designed with efficient vessel management in mind. A YachtEMS can be supplied with or without a safety management system and can be tailored for individual vessels or organisations. And because it's not always possible to rely on an internet connection at sea, YachtEMS can operate in offline mode – synchronising with the shore based server when the vessel reconnects to the internet.
Through their YachtDPA service, Regs4yachts are able to act as designated person ashore (DPA) for Cayman Islands flagged superyachts. Their surveyors hold a document of compliance from Cayman Maritime that allows them to operate commercially registered yachts over 500GT.
