Compressed Air EBS Training

About this course

Compressed air emergency breathing systems (CAEBS) is now used in the UK and Dutch North Sea Sectors for travelling in the offshore industry by helicopter. This short training program of one-and-a-half hours is available for offshore or other personnel with an in date BOSIET or FOET or equivalent issued before 15 February 2015.

This is an OPITO-approved program where the delegate will be introduced to and use the CAEBS in a ‘dry’ classroom environment. Upon successful completion of training delegates will receive supporting certification and this will be accredited to their Vantage database on successful completion.

CAEBS training is not a stand-alone course, but is included in the main offshore safety courses – BOSIET with CAEBS and Escape Chute Training and FOET with CAEBS and Escape Chute Training. Please see these course pages for available dates, or contact the admissions team for dates and availability.
