We're pleased to announce that Warsash Maritime Academy's team at the Hydro's Cup in Marseille finished fourth overall in the competition.
The team posted a third and a fifth place on their first day of racing; a fourth and a fifth on the second day; and two fourths and a third on the final day.
The Hydro's Cup is an annual event hosted by the ENMM, the French National Merchant Navy College in Marseille, with crews of merchant navy cadets taking part from colleges in Spain, UK, France, Germany and Belgium, some of whom enter several yacht crews, as well as some consisting solely of female officer cadet crews.
The main sponsors for the WMA Hydro's Cup Team this year were Sport Solent, on behalf of Solent University, Nautilus International, The Warsash Association, and shipping companies also shared some of the costs of the event, particularly those sponsoring cadets who took part in the event.
Well done to everyone involved!
