delighted that six Warsash cadets - David Kettles (Viking), Hannah Young (Viking), Richard
Finan (Carnival), Thomas Mason (Carnival), Elliot Chambers (Carisbrook Shipping) and George Whitfield (Anglo Eastern) - have been
invited to play an important part in the Festival of Remembrance at the
Royal Albert Hall this Saturday, 9 November.
This year the 70th
anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic will be commemorated with a
special performance. Our cadets will be escorting the Battle of the Atlantic veterans into position for this performance. They'll then also take part in the service muster.
On Remembrance Sunday they will be in London marching to the Cenotaph with the MN veterans.
The Festival of Remembrance will be televised on BBC1 at 21.15 on
Saturday and the Remembrance Sunday commemorations will be televised on
BBC1 at 10.20.
Warsash cadets will also be taking part in the Warsash Service of Remembrance on Sunday 10 November.
